As I am coming to completing my degree and leaving education forever it has got me thinking back on some of the projects that I have had over the years, how iV approached each one, and how they have all turned out. Final major projects always seem to be my favourites as I have the opportunity to try out my own ideas and write my own brief and concept! One of the first times I got to do this when when I was finishing my foundation diploma in creative arts where I focused on fashion.
The project I set myself was with the theme 'All the worlds a stage', and I explored different productions that would be on a stage and large architecture features of grand buildings that could or once did hold productions. I really enjoyed this project as I feel it helped me see a clearer direction in which I wanted to head in and it also gave me the chance to see and explore how to exhibit my work, making the think past the project. These skills learnt defiantly have helped me along the way in my studies and I will continue to take these forward in my last ever final major project for my studies.
The dress in the middle had a video projected on it, with a model wearing my large skirt which was then suspended along side it.
