self employment research

So I have roughly 47 days and 15 hours until my last hand in for my degree and its already got me thinking every hand about what I want to do next, (apart for make loads of money). This is a really hard decision as what ever I chose to do I plan to do it full time so I need to know that it will be something I love doing and get excited about! Where do I see myself??
 Again is a hard question to ask, I see myself lots of places but I think I know where I don't want to be, or be in somewhere for too long. For example id love to get the experience of working for a manufacturing house, but do I really want to be doing exactly the same thing every day 9-5. Deep down I know for all I would love the experience and the chance to work in this type of environment its not where I see my self staying. Id like to be ina place where no two days are the same, and im meeting new people, sharing ideas and working on different projects. So that's when I came to the conclusion that I would like to work for my self, and have my won business. But of course with this, there is defiantly a lot of things that I don't know, and most importantly I want my research to be real!! Not just what a bog stand generic book tells me!!
So if you would be so kind, iv complied some questions that I think may help me when im thinking about starting my own business, you don't have to answer them all but even a few would be a great help, I want to hear about real experiences and things that I may come across from real people who do this every day. How do you process your orders? What steps are taken from when someone gets in touch with you?

How do you cost your garments/costumes?
