Paris

Paris Trip

For the first time in February of 2013 I visited Paris withthe rest of my peers on the FdA fashion course. The place as a whole wasextremely inspiring and it is always exciting to visit new countries andcities. Of course there was a lot to take in and unfortunately we did not havetime to go around and see everything that I perhaps would have liked to. Butwhat we did see was beautiful and it is easy to see how many great fashioncollections could come from just one visit to the city.

While onthe trip we had the chance to visit Premier Vision, which is an industry usedtrade show and networking event. The main purpose of Premier Vision is so thatsuppliers and specialists from all over the world get together and showcasetheir produce and stock samples so that buyers from industry can pick andchoose what they want to order. It gives them a chance to see the fabricquality up close and personal as well as the company who supplies it ratherthan ordering things off the phone and not having the face to face contact. Each company had its own little booth with they made their own with different propsand styling accessories to give the buyers a feel of the type of company andsuppliers they are.

It was agreat experience been able to visit this event as not many other students wouldever have the chance or opportunity too. It was wonderful getting an insightinto something that we could possibly be returning to again in our professionallives and careers. This could be the same with Paris its self as well as manyof us could be returning to the city for work or just an inspirational trip totake in the sights and cultural atmosphere. My only disappointment with Paris was that there was soo much that wewanted to see and do in not so much time so if I ever have the chance to returnI would like to visit all the attractions again and spend more time in each andalso would like to have the chance to have a proper look around the shops andlittle boutiques that we missed out on this time.
